AP Summer Acceleration
Halstrom Academy offers the ideal AP program if you are looking to boost your academic curriculum for your college transcript and application process, begin AP classes in the summer to create a more manageable workload throughout the school year, and complete high rigor coursework in a small, supportive environment.
Halstrom Academy’s Advanced Preparation (AP) Program delivers college-level courses in a personalized setting to prepare students to reach their educational goals. By utilizing a block schedule to cover content and AP test prep, students work with their teachers to master the curriculum and develop skills and strategies to succeed on the AP assessment.
A specific focus on formative assessment throughout each class session allows for the teacher to track a student’s learning and address any gaps in understanding at a pace appropriate for the student and his or her unique needs.
Enrolling in Halstrom’s AP program gives your student the chance to tackle college-level work in a supportive environment while also earning college credit and placement.
